This photograph is a part of a series belongs to my first personal exhibition for Visual Arts lesson in IBDP. The concept of my exhibition is “Masks”.
It is a straightforward allegory of escape and disappearance suggested by colorful distractions. although we can see the person behind the mask, we are unable to identify them. masks grant the ability to conceal and deceive, which can be interpreted as authority. you will see that, when you look at the three masks, the pipe mask and neon green mask are the ones that you are most drawn to. the black-silver curved mask is a wonderful illustration of distractibility because it has more faded tones when compared to the others. which leads to clutter in color perception of the viewer.
